Phi Theta Kappa Symposium

Phi Theta Kappa Offers A Unique Campus Event of Through Native Eyes:Identity, Perception & Recognition. The event is going to take place on Wednesday, March 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in The Broadway Performance Hall

This symposium focuses on current issues of Native American health, tribal recognition and culture. Featured speakers include
1. Cecile Hansen, Chairperson of the D’wamish Tribe
2. Kenneth Tollefson, Prof. Emeritus SPU
3. Emma Medicine White Crow, Governor’s Council on Health Disparities
4. Ralph Forquera, MPH, Seattle Indian Health Board
5. Vi Hilbert, Member of the Upper Skagit Tribe

This event is open to the campus and the larger community and might especially be of interest to history, anthropology, social and human services, global health, and academic research students and faculty.
